About Evidently

Evidently is the leading Clinical Data Intelligence platform. About 30–40% of every patient's chart lives in scanned documents, faxes, and outside records that the health technology stack was never built to read — invisible to the tools clinicians trust to give them the whole picture. That means every day, across every health system, physicians are making care decisions on incomplete data. A prior implanted device. A surgery from fifteen years ago at another hospital. A chronic condition documented once and never re-noted. Not surfaced. Not visible. But able to change the course of that patient's life. We get up every morning to change that.

The results speak for themselves. University of Iowa Health Care saw a +31.7-point increase in Net EHR Experience Score — among the largest single-tool physician experience improvements ever measured. Allina Health saw 6x ROI in 90 days. We hold one standard: clinical AI shouldn't be graded on a curve. If the size of what's at stake is part of why you choose where to work, we'd love to talk.

The Role

As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will be the primary architect of the customer onboarding journey. You bridge the gap between our high-level clinical solutions and the technical reality of a hospital’s IT infrastructure. You aren’t just managing a checklist; you will execute various technical integration tasks and work alongside engineers to develop internal tooling and optimize deployment processes. While this role requires a strong technical foundation, your primary focus is on implementation excellence. You will lead the deployment process, manage complex project timelines, and serve as the technical point of contact to ensure our platform is integrated seamlessly and delivering value from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Technical Onboarding: Own the end-to-end implementation process for new health system partners, from initial discovery through successful go-live.
  • Strategic Project Management: Define project scopes, create detailed implementation timelines, and manage milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Technical Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert on Evidently’s integration capabilities (API, HL7/FHIR, and cloud architecture) for customer IT and informatics teams.
  • Solution Configuration: Work closely with customers to understand their unique clinical data environments and configure the Evidently platform to meet their specific needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Clinical Success, Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and help shape the product roadmap based on implementation challenges and successes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical or operational bottlenecks in the deployment process and develop strategies to resolve them before they impact the timeline.
  • Post-Implementation Hand-off: Ensure a smooth transition from the implementation phase to the Customer Success team, providing full documentation of the technical setup.

Who You Are

  • A Technical Orchestrator: You have a solid understanding of software integration and data workflows. You may not be writing and shipping code to production or diagnosing user-reported issues in the context of clinical workflows daily, but you can talk shop with fellow engineers and clinicians comfortably and love to dive deep into technical details.
  • A Project Leader: You have a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder software deployments, preferably within the healthcare or SaaS space.
  • Clinical/Technical Bilingual: You can translate "clinical requirements" into "technical specifications" and vice versa. You are not afraid, in fact, excited to turn them into software code and scripts that empower yourself and the team.
  • Customer-Centric: You are motivated by seeing a customer successfully adopt a product. You are empathetic to the challenges faced by hospital IT teams and clinical staff.
  • Process-Oriented: You enjoy building and refining repeatable processes that make implementations faster and more reliable as we scale.
  • A Communication expert: You thrive in guiding challenging conversations, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and resolving complex issues with transparency and diplomacy.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in technical project management, implementation management, or a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architecture or Technical Account Management).
  • Experience working with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and an understanding of clinical workflows is highly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms and an understanding of API-led integrations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) to track large-scale deployments.
  • (Optional but a plus) Proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and scripting (Shell, Python) to assist with data validation during the implementation phase as well as handling technical integrations.
  • (Optional but a big plus) Proficiency in using AI tools such as Claude Code/Cowork to automate tasks and amplify yourself and the team.

Compensation

  • Base: $130,000-170,000 annually depending on experience and location.
  • Our employees grow with our company. We include performance-based bonuses and equity compensation as part of the compensation package.
  • Flexible work environment
  • Competitive benefits
