Not Another Bill
Following the uniqueness of the hand.written.letter.project previously posted, I came across this rather idyllic and somewhat quaint idea. Initiated by Art Director Ned Corbett-Winder, the concept is simple; to subscribe in order to receive an unexpected, and unspecified parcel each month.
As the name of the project suggests, it plays with what has become a novelty, to be presented with a tactile and non-utilitarian piece of correspondence by post. In an environment, which is becoming more frequently accessible through the click of a mouse, the idea of re-introducing an element of surprise is an approach, which has become the novelty itself. Each monthly parcel contains varying ‘presents’ sourced from a combination of up and coming designers, brands and illustrators as well as objects collected from fairs or markets. Last month comprised of a beautiful limited edition print by the illustrator Dan Hillier http://www.danhillier.com/

Subscription to this service does cost £15 a month however, it is possible to select the number of months you require this unique dose of visual inspiration. It is strangely refreshing how a long existing process can become something to which we return in order create inspiration within us. For more information visit http://www.notanotherbill.com/
