Is your iTunes library a mess? ‘Unknown Artist’ in some of your columns? Songs with that oh so annoying “Track Number 01” title? Of course you do. Because your MP3’s have come from all over the place. Some from your CD’s, some you bought from iTunes, some may even have come from friends or other less than official sources (don’t worry, I’m not here to judge).

Zeff Tech Tip: Speed Up Safari & Flash

If anyone has found Safari getting a bit slow to load or run then it might be something really simple: a dodgy Flash plug-in. Put simply, you might have two files for Flash Player but one is a rogue! Go here MacintoshHD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins. Keep the new file (Flash Player.plugin) and lose the old one (flashplayer.xpt). After you restart your browser, you’ll notice a little pickup in pace for flash. I particularly found those annoying script warnings in flash went away.

No matter what the kids say, Etch-A-Sketch is still cool

When I was a small boy my favorite creative toy was the Etch-A-Sketch. It had the amazing capability to draw anything your imagination could dream up - really badly. Having said that, I did master the curved line and even drew things that looked 3D. Alas, with an Etch-A-Sketch there is no save feature, which sucked, but I manage to take some pictures of my best etches.
